Residential house for a young family located in the western part of Estonia. The plot area is 4,000 m², most of which is densely planted with trees. For the location of the house, we chose the only plateau that receives plenty of natural light. According to the design, in addition to the house, there will also be a separate sauna and a workshop on the site. In the living room, we managed to create a large atrium space, while the kitchen and bedroom were placed on two different levels, which visually expands the interior space. The main construction materials include a flat foundation, walls made of Fibo blocks, and wooden trusses for the floors and roof frame. The facade materials are wooden shingles, metal, and fiber-cement panels. The roof will be covered with standing seam metal sheets. The main energy sources will be a water-to-air heat pump combined with solar panels. The house is planned to be completed by 2027.
